The award ceremony was held in Semarang on Tuesday (19/8/2025), and also marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Link Net and GSM. This agreement strengthens the collaboration to expand open access network development across several cities in Central Java, supporting efforts to accelerate internet access and digital transformation in the region.

GSM’s Vision: Building Digital Villages in Central Java

President Director of GSM, HM Fathurahman, emphasized the company’s ambition to reach 22,500 active customers by 2026. This target is part of GSM’s broader vision to create Digital Villages and ensure high-speed internet access even in rural areas of Central Java.

“In addition to expanding the network, we are committed to involving local communities by empowering local marketing teams, collaborating with village governments, and leveraging local wisdom to strengthen implementation,” said Fathurahman.

The company is preparing to absorb more workers through its marketing and technical divisions, while also providing internship and vocational training opportunities for high school students in Brebes to build a skilled workforce ready for the digital industry.
